It’s snowing in Atlanta and stupid people are out in full force!!
By “makes people stupid”, I mean that it has only snowed about an inch where I live and already, at 4:49pm, stupid people are closing schools for tomorrow.
By “makes people stupid”, I mean that store shelves are already empty from stupid people thinking they need to buy milk and bread in case they get snowed in. Do they not watch the news?
By “makes people stupid”, I mean that you don’t even have to watch the news to know it’s snowing. All you have to do in Atlanta is turn on your television. Every news station on every channel is covering the snow, planting stupid people on every corner of metro Atlanta, just to tell us that it’s snowing outside.
By “makes people stupid”, I mean that stupid people in their cars are running into each other on the highways from stupid people who think that just because you can drive 80mph on dry roads, you can do it on wet and slick ones.
By “makes people stupid”, I mean that from the desk in my home office, I can see the corner of Ashood Way and Glendale Drive. It’s amazing how many stupid people blast up to the stop sign, then slam on their brakes and slide through it.
By “makes people stupid”, I mean that stupid news station managers are calling 2-3″ of snow “Blizzard ‘09″. Puh-leeze!
By “makes people stupid”, I mean that even though Atlanta is made of of 90% stupid northern transplants, they still freak out at the first mention of snow.
And finally….By “makes people stupid”, I wonder how many stupid people are at the car wash right now? Hmmm…..
