Trip - San Juan, Puerto Rico
While Jimmy was cursing 30-40 degree weather back in Atlanta, I was enjoying 86 degrees, sunny and no clouds. I actually got a sunburn in November!
I spent a lot of time at the venue, so I didn’t get to do much sightseeing. I did, however, get to eat at The Chicago Burger Company and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes burgers or chicken sandwiches…I had both during my stay. In addition to the typical lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles, they allow you to choose your cheese and two toppings: I chose gorgonzola for the cheese; grilled onions and chipotle feta sour cream for the toppings. Mmm, Mmm. Good stuff!
I also did a little gambling at the hotel/casino. I guess I donated to the cause, ’cause I lost.
I came home on November 24 and got a reality check when I stepped off the plane in my typical attire: shorts and tee-shirt. The temperature in Atlanta just happened to be 41 degrees and I had to take MARTA from the airport to the Doraville station. Burrrrrrrrrrrr.
My CTS doesn’t have heated seats, so when I finally get my M35, it will!
